Mental Health First Aid Training

Participants will be able to assist people who may be experiencing challenges with mental health or who may be in crisis. Learning objectives include:

• Risk factors and warning signs of a mental health challenge

• Information on depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and addiction disorders.

• A 5-step action plan to help someone facing a mental health challenge or who are in crisis.

• Where to turn for help — professional, peer, and self-help resources.
